“JOEY G’S workshop was out of this world. The students at Ysgol St Elfod were totally absorbed and everyone wanted to take the mic and perform the rap Joey helped us create. He is a fantastic practitioner. Encouraging and positive and I would highly recommend. The students will remember this experience for a very long time. Thank you Joey.
Feedback from a Joey.G Workshop
By Carys Guy-Davies – Health & Social Care tutor in Llandrillo College:
Thank you to Joseph George for fantastic collaboration with the Christian Union and our Health and social/childcare department.
A range of skills embedded through Rap workshop that brought enjoyment, enthusiasm and learning to our students.
Teaming up to plan, prepare and perform to the residents of local nursing homes, gave the students sector engagement opportunities in a fun and creative way.
‘Joey G’ (due to Covid) met with the group online and beamed into our classroom. The group loved the sessions and support that Joseph gave. All the learners wanted to do more sessions / projects, however we entered into another lockdown.
For the next academic year it would be great to have the opportunity to put some of those projects together again, such as ‘sing for dementia’ and that the Christian Union can be part of it. Thanks once again to ‘Joey G’ , a natural communicator who has a great rapport with the staff and learners in the HSC/cc department

“My students were buzzing after the session today. On returning to class I asked them to write a paragraph on buzz words we had covered over the last few weeks to check their knowledge and understanding of the topic. One student requested they create a rap, great idea and so they did!
If you can say a big thanks to Joey G and perhaps let him know what he has influenced in class this afternoon!”
Sian Owens – Youth Leader at Kinmel Bay Church
The Young People thoroughly enjoyed the session. They were motivated and proud to be creative.
